Some weapons have an enchantment that deals extra elemental damage towards enemies; however, the Champion's Cudgel has a fifty percent chance of dealing fire, frost, and shock damage to an enemy all at once. This weapon has the appearance of a special Imperial crafted Warhammer, and players won't find anything like it in the base game or in either of the expansion packs. The regular Dawnguard Warhammer is powerful; however, the Dawnguard Rune Hammer is a much better weapon for the long term.
It is found during the "Lost Relics" quest, which is a side quest that the Dragonborn can complete after officially joining the Dawnguard faction. When the Dragonborn bashes a nearby surface, a fire rune is placed upon the surface and explodes when an enemy comes near it. This effect is incredibly fun to use, and the Dawnguard Rune Hammer is the only weapon that has this enchantment.
Aegisbane is a unique Warhammer that deals five points of fire and frost damage towards all enemies. Although Aegisbane isn't the most powerful Warhammer in Skyrim, the reason that it is so great is that it can be acquired very easily compared to most of the other Warhammers in the game since the Dark Brotherhood is easily joinable.
This mission is the first major quest in the Dark Brotherhood questline. The Dragonborn can quickly join the Dark Brotherhood by traveling to Windhelm and talking with Aventus Aretino; the Dragonborn will then get an objective that will eventually lead to the player joining up with the Dark Brotherhood. Over on Reddit, user MarciaMaan shared a recreation of the Daedric Warhammer found in Skyrim , which is one of the iconic late-game weapons from the series.
It's an immaculate recreation to find in the real world, with MarciaaMaan nailing the small details featured on the hilt and hammerhead. It's incredibly intricate and looks as close to the real thing as one could hope to get. MarciaMaan elaborated on how they recreated Skyrim 's Daedric Warhammer in the comments, stating that the handle is made from a broomstick while the hammerhead is made from a sort of foam.
Then, the artist carved the hammer into shape using a rotary tool, before adding on other small details that were made out of foam. It might be hard to tell just by looking at the Daedric Warhammer, but the studs are apparently made out of googly eyes. Bound Daedric armor is considered light armor , rather than heavy armor. Therefore, it increases your Light Armor skill rather than Heavy Armor. Bound Armor also does not take your skill into account, always having 65 armor rating.
Daedric Armor is incredibly rare. In some cases, only one example of each piece exists, and in order to acquire them you will have to take them from their owner: Divayth Fyr. Since Divayth is an Essential character to the Main Quest , it is highly inadvisable to kill him in order to obtain these items prior to completing his portion of the story. A safer, but by no means simple method is to repeatedly cast Disintegrate Armor spells on him until the armor breaks, cast Calm Humanoid to stop him from attacking you, and then pickpocket the broken armor off of him.
This is only necessary in order to acquire the Cuirass and the Pauldrons, as the other pieces can be found elsewhere and there's an enchanted version of the Cuirass given by Mistress Therana as a reward for a quest. Fortunately, if you have both Tribunal and Bloodmoon installed, there are other ways to acquire these missing pieces which do not involve harassing or killing an essential character in the game.
One piece, the Tower Shield, can only be found randomly by killing golden saints. Be aware that a full set of Daedric armor not including helm or shield, which combined add 60 pounds weighs pounds, still over half your total encumbrance at strength , and requires at least 60 strength to wear without becoming over-encumbered. This makes it by far the heaviest armor in the game, 88 pounds heavier than a similar suit of Ebony armor.
