It is the engine that generates new situations in the story, generates expectation among the spectators and that becomes the vital part of the drama. It is usually presented at the end of the story, to keep the viewer in suspense until the last moment and not lose interest in it.

Without a plot, the spectator will not have any purpose of watching or even elaborate an idea to think about after watching the story. While the main plot is when there is a crucial moment in the story that gives meaning to the rest and there is only one the Sub-plot is when there is a secondary plot or more that reinforces the main one but that does not become so important. However, a Multi-plot is a story with several plots, but none is more important than the others as happened with the previous point.

The Parallel plot is another type, is presented in a story when there are two stories or circumstances involving two plots that take place at the same time being both equally relevant.
