Once, I convinced her to watch the Dr. Who episode "Blink", thinking she'd be hooked. She felt nothing, she watched the whole damn show with her icy stare and felt nothing. Recently, we informally agreed if I read "Fifty Shades of Grey" she'd be willing to watch one more episode. I really don't want to read Fifty Shades of Grey.
Should I? If so, what episode should I show her? Or, is this a lost cause that would only result in me reading Fifty Shades of Grey for nothing? This is a very complex question, so forgive me if I take my time answering it. I watch a series for you, you watch a series for me. The first problem is that 50 Shades of Grey is over pages. That kind of breaks the ratio, in my opinion. The second problem is that 50 Shades of Gray is terrible. Walking Dead. A dismal post-apocalyptic landscape filled with flesh-ripping zombies?

A bleak post-zompocalypse wasteland of never ending terror and unspeakable violence. Though he still has a dedicated fanbase today, Daryl is nowhere near as praised as he once was in the early days, and maybe that's not a bad thing. Daryl has suffered from being underdeveloped and cliche for several seasons, and only now has the show begun to fix that.
This character has made some terrible, reckless decisions that have had major repercussions, and so much of the hate that's directed to him is deserved.
Carol is perhaps the most unjustly hated character on the show, and unfortunately, it's been that way for a long time. While a good portion of the series' fanbase adores this TV icon , Carol gets her share of hate every season, no matter what she does. Most recently, Carol has come under fire for unintentionally causing the collapse of the cave that may have killed fellow survivors.
Though what happened is terrible, Carol should be cut some slack; she lost her son and her entire life in the Kingdom. She's lost and has earned the right to be reckless. It's worth noting that Negan arguably does not get enough hate. This man has done more damage than any other villain on the show.
He has mercilessly killed countless innocent people, and that includes fan-favorites as well. When Negan killed Glenn Rhee in The Walking Dead' s season 7 premiere, the series' massive audience began to dwindle as a result.
The show is not the same without Glenn, and that is because of Negan. That will remain true no matter how hard the series tries to redeem Negan. Savannah is an Ontario-based freelance writer, aspiring cartoonist, and amphibian enthusiast.
She enjoys horror, Jane Austen, and the Moomins. The same can be said about Shane as well since he became a bit of a villain himself. He began to get fixated on Lori and the baby and ultimately tried to kill Rick in order to take over in his shoes. Audiences saw how conflicted he was as a character and they saw him evolve during his time on the series. Yet, Negan has a character that seems completely different as a villain.
There have been a number of people that have tried to revolt against Negan and his tactics. Rick made this abundantly clear when he told Negan that he was going to kill him. Rather than killing Rick, Negan seemed to respect his defiance and gave him a second chance at falling in line. He did the same with Daryl since he tried to brainwash Daryl into becoming one of his lapdogs. When Spencer tried to show that he would prove his allegiance to Negan if they would put him in charge in place of Rick, Negan gutted him in the street.
Generally, if someone were to show boldfaced defiance, that would merit certain death. Audiences can probably wrap their minds around the fact that Negan undoubtedly needed to give off a show of force in order to get people to fall in line. However, there is an element of sadism to the way Negan rubs deaths in the face of those he tries to rule. You can tell a lot about a person by their methods of killing on The Walking Dead, or any show for that matter. For instance, on the hit series, Game of Thrones , each house has their own methods of dealing with their enemies, which tells a lot about their characters.
The same is true for the characters on The Walking Dead. Michonne is known for her use of her sword, which takes a considerable amount of skill. Sasha is highly skilled with a sniper rifle, Daryl has his bow and Rick seems to prefer his hatchet. Yet, Negan prefers to beat people to death. While there are a number of characters on The Walking Dead that seem to have an emotional tie to their weapon of choice, none of them have the same type of relationship that Negan has with his bat.
Negan, on the other hand, has actually named his bat, Lucille, and has forced people to honor it in a way that makes it seem like it is its own character in the series.
When his follower, Fat Joey, brought Lucille to Negan, he was confronted with questions on whether or not he treated the bat with respect when he walked it over to Negan.
