Pros Mini paid holidays. It's a great place to work, but it is very bureaucratic. It's an easy 8am to pm job with an hour lunch. A lot of sitting at a desk is involved. Much of the work had to do with working on a computer through the Tennessee Tech "banner" site which aids in class scheduling for students, the budget and ordering things. It was also heavy on communication wether that be via email or via phone or most especially in person with students and faculty.

Pros Laid back atmosphere. Cons Not great pay. The TN Tech tutoring center caters to students from all backgrounds and engages everyone on their own level to achieve their immediate academic goals and improve their skills for future use.

It's just how I talk, being a southerner. Yet I was brought up on charges of improper conduct. I was very happy to leave that place. Tommuch political correctness stress. Working at Tennessee Tech University, especially if you're a student, is a perfect way to go due to flexible hours to work around course schedules and other life activities.

This a work study for Tennessee Technological University full time students. I worked with all great people that were encouraging and willing to properly train their employees. Pros Flexible. Cons Have to be enrolled as full time student. I feel lucky and honoured to work at Tennessee tech University with many research oppurtunities and great encouragement. My manager is very helpful with a great motivational skills. It was just helping professors who needed help so it was pretty easy and a nice way to get to know the professors.

I spent my time helping the history department. Very good atmosphere very good location nice people very good facilities to study and test of mechanical and thermal properties of polymers, metals and composites.

Innovative and hands on experience at the University. Being able to become a teaching assistant or part time employee while you also attend school there works out extremely well.
